Description

This course discusses the importance and requirements of advanced funding for future major repairs and replacements for homeowner association members. Details of the disclosures required by the California Civil Code are explained in this course. Checklists to assist Associations in the process of selecting consultants for a Component Study or Funding Plan Preparer are also included. APRA and ECHO Standards for Reserve Studies are also discussed in this course. The final section of the course includes Frequently Asked Questions & Terminology.

This course refers to California Law - although the basic premises apply in all states. Portions that pertain to California Law are clearly so stated.
